Why We Built This
Traditional SEO tools measure Google rankings, but AI assistants work differently. How It Works
When you add a website to Citerna, you define the queries where you want visibility — brand terms, product categories, competitive comparisons, or industry questions. Citerna then runs these queries across your selected AI providers on a schedule (daily by default), captures the responses, and analyzes them for brand mentions and citations.
Each query is run multiple times with variations to ensure statistical reliability. The system tracks mention frequency, sentiment (positive, negative, neutral), positioning (how early in the response your brand appears), and citation context (is your content being used as a source?).
